Gary Crockett, former President and CEO of IEX, joins the Board of Directors

Plano, Texas (April 8, 2008) - Cirries Technologies, Inc., today announced that Gary Crockett, the former president/CEO of IEX Corp., was elected to Cirries' Board of Directors at Cirries' recent board meeting.

Prior to IEX, Mr. Crockett held engineering and engineering management positions at Bell Labs locations in New Jersey, Ohio, and Illinois. He was responsible for developing several operations support systems and a packet-switching product. He participated in developing enhanced versions of the UNIX operating system for use in the company's products.

"Gary brings a wealth of knowledge and wisdom to Cirries from having founded and run IEX and serving as CTO at Tekelec,"said Rick Aguirre, Cirries' president. "Gary is also an experienced developer of packet-based voice telephony products. He has spent over 30 years doing and directing the development of software for telecommunications products and systems and his input will be instrumental for the strategic direction of the company. Gary is going to be a terrific director and we're excited and honored that he has agreed to serve on Cirries' Board of Directors."

"Rick and his team have done an outstanding job in developing CIPHER, the premier standards-based service mediation product," Mr. Crockett said. "CIPHER enables carriers and service providers to connect legacy networks with IP networks. This lets carriers create new services and address new markets while taking maximum advantage of their existing networks."

"I have been particularly impressed with the ability to automatically generate code for deployment," Mr. Crockett added. "I am especially looking forward to working with the founders and other board members who have guided this company's development."
